Is that 10 usd for life?
It's by version but upgrade fees are cheap and they don't upgrade enough for it to be an issue.

They also have some of the best gmail integration out of all the email clients I've used, and has been my preferred email client for about 2 years now.

One more question for you here Forsaken :D (might not know if you don't run windows OS but!)

Can you hide it in the tasktray? (as in still running in the background) this is a main part I need >.> unlike windows live mail on win 8 pfft!

They have an extension that lets you (http://codefisher.org/minimizetotray/) and other extensions here: http://postbox-inc.com/extensions

You can see it in the tray now (Silver postbox icon second row from the bottom).
