Looking to make the move to Xenforo from VB

Ok I' looked at xen when it got started many months ago and have popped in to look occasionally and liking what I'm seeing, seems friendly like the old days at vB so considering the move.

Some questions though.

1. How easy is it to import an vB site with over 3 million posts? Would I require help is this availaible? If so what's the costs?
2. Is there gallery software or some sort of bridge?
3. Is there personal Galleries/albums?
4. Calendar / Events guide anything like this here?
5. How tricky is the coding for Xen compared to vB for modding purposes?

Apologies I realise most of these might be answered with some digging but I'm keen to get answers quickly while also looking and figure others will have the info more to hand rather than me trawling for hours...not that I won't be trawling anyway.

Also pleasure to be here and see Kier and Mike doing well.

1 - Xenfans.com - They do nice job with moving the forums : http://xenfans.com/pages/services/
2. Don't know about bridge but there's one Gallery Add-on already on Add-on section . KK is working on another Gallery Add-on : http://xenforo.com/community/threads/galleria-the-basics.9504/
3. Here's one Add-on available : http://xenforo.com/community/threads/xfr-user-albums.14033/
4. XenAtendo(Events) i think has everything that you need : http://xenforo.com/community/threads/8wayrun-com-xenatendo-events.8670/
5. Xenforo is full of awesome stuffs :p You will get used to it pretty fast :p

Cheers for the quick reply. only really big down side is the user albums not being able to be transferred will be a major bugbear. Still over all I'm thinking it will possible be worth the agro, I got sick of the Gallery issues with Photoposts "support attitude" so no loss on the Gallery front.

Of to scour the place then try out the trial I guess.

The FAQs were updated just a few weeks ago and I continually check for any outdated information.
Yeah the date on the Pre one still shows Oct 6 2010 which is why I wasn't so sure of it, perhaps a last edited might be handy.

Still this was more me asking before have a right good look, being lazy, that second FAQ holds enough info and personally a seperate system would probably be over kill.

to tell the truth you'll would loss the user's album and the calender option everything else would be fine
there are 3rd party source options but are not recommended

the best thing I did is moving to xf and I am sure you'll like it

*** you can save the database for the user's album and calender until xf come up with something
