I'm creating a forum that seems to be closest to a kind of journalism. Privacy is a paramount concern for me so I want this site to be in a country that is more stable than my own, and has a very strong and robust commitment to Journalism and Privacy. To me, that means Iceland and Switzerland. And I think Iceland wins on Privacy and accountability for Journalism. Or so it seems to me. I'm open to higher quality information.
To that end, I'd like to hear what experience has to say about the best hosting in Iceland, and also the best Xenforo consultants in Iceland. Currently, I live on the West Coast of the USA. In about two years or so my wife, a close friend, and I will be in Iceland for a few weeks to ride dirt bikes and explore.
It's fine to PM me with your suggestions but know I am gonna do a lot of research or recommendations. But, I will not publish anyone's PMs.
My original plan, before Covid, was to publish the forum using KnownHost. Then transfer it later to Iceland. But so much time has gone by that I don't want to add needless complexity.
