Your site is available at https:// and https://www so that could account for it.

Check the canonical setting in the ACP options to force one URL/protocol.

I think he means how to change or stop being logged out from the AdminCP.

I assume this is hard-coded?

unfortunately that didn't help.
I am simply logged out when I switch between pages in the backend.

Contact your host.

You will have to contact your host and ask them to check whether any sort of reverse proxy, caching, or some other server side issue is involved.
