Login users to WordPress - Login users to WordPress from the XenForo login screen.

A simple XenForo addon that detects when a user logs in from the XenForo and also logs in a corresponding user in WordPress.

Requirements
  1. Both WP and XF must be on the same server
  2. You cannot use subdomains, only subfolders (ex: domain.com/community)
  3. Both WP and XF users must have the same username or email, and password
-----

Bonus: Use the XFtoWP WordPress...

I've just tested it on my server and it works fine with the latest XF and WP versions. There may be conflicting XF add-ons or WP plugins on your installation, or it is not set up properly.

As @Forsaken mentioned I developed this add-on for another person and he's the one distributing and supporting it, so you'll have to go through him with support requests.

In the case of major bugs, would it be possible for someone to fund a patch for you to release while @kolakube is unavailable? Unsure what has happened to @kolakube (as he did not really seem the type to just abandon things), and with 2.3 releasing soon this may need to be a temporary option until he is back.

I suppose it can be released as an 'independent' patch since I cannot release a new version of someone else's add-on (even if I programmed the original). However this is all hypothetical at the moment since the add-on does work.

Due to the nature of this kind of bridge some installations will always need 'personal' troubleshooting due to conflicting WP plugins or improper configuration (as mentioned above). Furthermore this add-on doesn't take into account some legitimate scenarios that can break the login sync process. It wasn't me who wrote the specs :) Dealing with these scenarios would take more work and it was beyond the scope of what the person who commissioned the add-on wanted to achieve with this specific free release.

@gigipmc thank you for the info and update. Yeah, we have many add-ons with WP. My guess, looking at the errors, its a conflict with Divi/Bloom or Sendy configs that no longer works. I have tried to contact @kolakube to no avail. When he was around, he was great.

I would be happy to discuss funding a patch, and sending you debug info. It only started giving errors in the last month or so and was working without issue for about 1 year.

I just did a sanity check - tried login in, with this add-on turned on, and it gives out server errors, without it, it is fine. Its 100% repeatable on our forums.
