XF 2.0 Log in requestion verification

2 step verification is disabled but can't log in due to

if it's disabled it shouldn't be asking for this


How do I fix this?

"Disabled" in this context just means you haven't yet configured two step verification for your account.

You are being told that you must enable it because either you have activated the Admin CP option which requires you to enable it to log in there, or you have set the "Require two-step verification" permission to "Yes".

are you have ranks 1 or more ? control all ranks two-step

Can you run the permission analyzer to confirm that require two-step option isn't being triggered in any other group?

It's a fresh install with one user and the stock user group and permissions. After install (without any changes) I had to go out and logged off. When I came back and tried to log on that happened.
Nothing shows on the permission analyzer.

(shaking head) I just tried to log in this morning and was able to log in without having to do the 2 step. I think I'll remove the test install and re-install it later.
