The first thing to note above all else is that you are in the UK and your server is in the US so there will be a natural latency between the two of you. That being said, it still takes a long time to load after first byte time.
From a quick glance, you could make use of serving your static content from a cookie-less domain and setting expires on your static content too.
Are you using a cache such as Redis?

I’m in the UK. I am using two cache, one is memacache and the other is the standard static one I think. I need to double check. My host does not have redis. But the thing is my site does load fast everywhere else, just not the forum page/main page. I have tried it on a test forum too and runs fast.
