Hi friends,

I use the latest version of XF, some of my users are complaining that my forum does not load time to time, below is the screen a user sent me, please someone can tell me why this is happening? I spoke to my hosting company, they are saying there is no issue from the hosting site. I do not understand why then my site has this issues. Maybe someone can get a clue after seeing the below screenshot, I would appreciate if someone can point me the issue.

I would try and have them access it in incognito mode when there's a connectivity issue to see if there is something session related to that user. If incognito works then it's easier to narrow down.

That's a 404 custom error page created by XF that instructs browsers to cache it. This can happen for various reasons, such as lacking an internet connection, experiencing intermittent network issues, or having ad blockers that interfere with requests.

Based on our web hosting expertise, we recommend monitoring the website from different locations and recording the date and time when this error occurs. This information will enable your hosting provider to review the logs and identify the underlying cause.

thank you so much for reply, all duly noted.
I will try to record the date and time and then get in touch with my hosting, but on the same hosting I am having two XF other forums and they run fine without any complain, only one this one forum I hear these issues from users, I hardly have 2 users on forum and its not even big yet. But as you said, I will try that and let's see how it goes.

Thank you once again <3

That's another great idea, thank you so much.
Yes I will inform my user to use icognito mode and see if they still face the same error. Thank you @MentaL

Right now I just saw my forum gave me this error and after few minutes it went back to normal.
Please if any expert can find out through this screenshot, which addon's or place is causing the issue on my forum ?

The error is pretty clear, you've hit the 'Too many connections' issue with your database. Are you on shared hosting?
yes I m on shared hosting, but my forum is small. I have one user and even guests I have max 2 or 3 on fourm. How it can be so many connections and requests?

Is this only site on your shared hosting plan? The shared hosting options generally have very limited resources and it's really easy to hit this connection limit. You can ask your host if they can increase the connection limit, but if they are unwilling, you'll have to get a better host. This is purely a hosting resource/configuration issue and not specific to Xenforo.
