Does this still work with Xenforo?

I'm still rolling just fine with it. Like @dethfire said though, I don't know if it's still being actively supported. I think @Michael A. just doesn't update since it still works just fine still.

Try changing the theme to dark as a guest, navigate to a thread then return to the main page. The main page will appear light theme again and all other pages will be dark theme. It means the add-on causes the main page to have some sort of an aggressive caching mechanism that doesn't save the user's preferences.

I hope this is something @Michael A. and the team are reviewing since many users are using dark themes today and this could annoy users...

It's not supported anymore. I noted a critical (IMO) issue, but it hasn't been addressed. I disabled the add-on for now since many guests complained...
