Hi guys,

I want to make a node invisible to all with less than 5 posts. How can I do this?

Usergroup promotions. Add a promotion that gives users a secondary user group after five posts.

Revoke permissions on registered for the node, allow them on the new group.

Knew that.... :p Thanks :)

Question, which of these should I choose, what do they do:
  • Use the default user title ladder
  • Use the following user title:

Default user title ladder = based on trophy points.
Use the following user title is what you want for groups such as moderators and define it. Ie, here, the moderators group uses the following user title:
"XenForo Moderator"

So regardless of what the title should be under the trophy points user title ladder, it will always be XenForo Moderator.

I want to level up people once they get to five posts so which do I choose for that. Sorry, I am a little confused.

Apply this promotion if...
Content and Achievements > User has posted at least X messages. You can pretty much leave the usergroup at default, just revoke the permission for that particular node, as Jeremy says.

As mistypants stated, the title ladder has nothing to do with promotions. Its nothing more than the user title shown below the username in various places around the software.
