XF 2.2 Lightbox not working in Xenforo 2.2

Hi guys,

We have updated from 2.1 to 2.2 and Attached pictures are now opened in a new tab instead of a lightbox.

Attached pictures are hosted on our CDN, would that be the cause? If yes, how can we solve this without disabling the CDN?

The Views counter also isn't working at the moment.

Any thoughts?

There isn't anything in the core that serves full size attachment pictures from a CDN, so this is presumably from an add-on. So this isn't necessarily a situation we're expecting to happen.

(If you're serving pictures directly, the view counter generally wouldn't be incremented so that's probably expected in your scenario.)

@Mike Would we be able to serve images / media galleries and so on through our CDN without a plugin?

The raw attachment files? No, this isn't something we currently support.

It is a pity, because we have about 120.000 photo's on our forum we would like to serve via our CDN provider (Bunny CDN in our case).

We now rely on the XFRocks plugin, but that one seems to be the cause of the current issue.

So I have done a little debugging of this and have made a tweak for 2.2.1 that allows this situation to work. It's not exactly a bug per se as it only gets exposed by something from an add-on, but either way, this should be possible when that version is released.
