I have made a change to the template so that at the end it offers the user a way to unsubscribe. Will update this shortly.

A separte subscribe/unsubscribe link would be better. I do not want that my users do not get any email anymore just because they do not want the monthly overview. Site mailings alone as an optin/optout is not enough.

I just checked and the other alternative "xfletter" is deleted and will not be supported anymore. So we need to push here to make this addon even more powerful. A seperate subscribe/unsubcrsibe option which does not influence the general site mailing option would be my wish #1.

wish # 2 would be of course automatic bounced email handling

You need to be in the debug mode, click on Development tab and on left side find Email Templates.
