XF 2.2 Last read behaviour

I've moved from IPS. On IPS when visiting a thread that you have already read and there are no new replies it takes you to the last post in the thread. On xenforo in the same scenario it's taking us to the first post in the thread can we change this?

Reviving this thread that went unanswered. I seem to remember that on my forum, clicking on on a thread would take the user to the newest post (after the most recently read post). In other words if the user has visited the thread before, clicking on it again would take him / her directly to the content just past the last point from the previous session on that thread.

That is not happening on my forum now. No matter what, clicking on a thread you've visited before takes you to the first post in the thread... forcing you to scroll through previously read content.

Did something change? I know this feature exists on other XenForo based forums I visit. Or am I missing something?
