The new posts page displays new posts by ignored members. IMHO this should be hidden, because it is pointless to show new posts that the user does not want to see. if the user opens the page, they will only see old content and if the ignored content is on a new page, the user will land on an empty page without content. The user can do nothing with the page except leave it. Which is very confusing to the user and is experienced as buggy.
The same issue was considered a bug in this report and was fixed for the new posts block:
This unwanted behaviour is an inconsistency. Is it possible to fix this as well or find a solution to it?

I know ignoring users can't completely hide everything but currently it seems like it will show new posts from ignored users.
In this test the ignored user created the thread and was the latest to respond.

This is fixed now.
There was actually a line of code to support this, but it wasn't quite right, and now it specifically looks at whether the last post user is ignored.
