Fair enough.
The description has become a bit too long, and you are right that it may not fully reflect the latest updates. I’ll clean it up and make it easier to scan. There is no public live demo available at the moment, unfortunately. I’m sorry about that. At the moment, the conditions are not quite suitable for me to maintain a proper demo installation. As support grows and I release my other products, I do plan to prepare a proper demo environment.
Cliff’s notes version: Reply Flow is a thread navigation layer for long XenForo discussions. It lets users search, sort and filter replies directly inside the current thread, without sending them to a separate search page or changing the normal XenForo thread structure.
The main idea is simple: when a thread becomes too long to read page by page, Reply Flow helps users quickly narrow it down to the replies that matter.
Key things it adds:
This may still be longer than proper cliff’s notes, but it is difficult to explain everything it does in just a few words. Reply Flow is one of those things that makes more sense once you actually use it.
- Dynamic in-thread search
- Reply sorting: oldest, newest, most reacted, and question/vote-based sorting where applicable
- Practical filters such as media, links, attachments, thread starter replies, your own replies, and replies you reacted to
- Optional sticky first post while browsing filtered/sorted replies
- Smart filter visibility, so irrelevant filters can be hidden when a thread has no matching content
- Helpful no-result actions such as clearing the search or viewing all replies
- Mobile-friendly compact controls
- Permission-aware behavior that respects XenForo’s normal visibility rules
- Large-thread and cache-aware backend handling for busy forums
This maintenance release improves Reply Flow reliability on very large XenForo forums, especially in environments where installs, admin diagnostics, or metadata rebuilds may be affected by request timeouts or large database workloads. No public-facing Reply Flow behavior has been changed in this release.
This maintenance release fixes an issue where Reply Flow’s AJAX pagination handling could interfere with unrelated XenForo AJAX forms on long thread pages, such as creating a poll in an existing thread.
Reply Flow now limits its pagination/page-jump handling more strictly so XenForo forms can submit normally while Reply Flow pagination continues to work.
I’ll be handling this personally. I’m currently focused on the development of Reply Flow 1.1, so there may be a short delay before I can assist with new purchases.Does anyome know how to purchase this add-on?
I followed the link and followed the instructions to no avail.
Reply Flow 1.1.0 introduces new administration tools, improved customization options, enhanced XenForo integration, and additional maintenance capabilities.
This release adds a new Style Properties system, rebuild and maintenance tools, per-thread Reply Flow controls, Preserve Native Controls layout support, and further improvements for larger communities.
The Reply Flow overview page has also been updated with new screenshots and updated information for Reply Flow 1.1.0...
Would be good to see a demo too @Tamer
