XF 2.0 Keep being pestered with constant captcha requests

Upgraded from XF1 to XF2. Super happy, except: I'm constantly get these annoying captcha requests when I'm working in ACP configuring options, which requires a lot of edit -> save -> reload etcetc.. I don't need a captcha validation when I'm logged into the ADMIN CP. Also I don't want my users being bugged by this. I've disabled the default recaptcha and using Q&A captcha for registering, but I keep seeing it: I can see it suddenly changing the text in my tab on Chrome from my website name to "captcha", and then it hangs for about 10 seconds before it loads, even after I disabled the recaptcha option.

This really doesn't sound like something XenForo is doing. It's likely coming from your server or some sort of proxy.

Definitely a false positive from your server security/firewall that is intercepting requests.

Check with your host, they might have something like Imunify360 installed:

It seems you are absolutely correct. Thanks! It was indeed imunify360! Had never heard of it before. Constantly asking for captcha confirmations and delaying page load with 10-20 seconds. What a big pile of crap that thing is..
