Just For You Steve Mach...

My recommendation:

As a Vbulletin owner for several years. Steve provided incredible service, both personally, as well as managing his team in a highly effective manner. His attention to detail, his follow through, and his professionalism to ensure customer satisfaction are exemplary, and second to done.

Regardless of the difficult environment he was working under, and the overall negative attitude towards VBulletin, Steve never wavered in his desire and ability to offer the customers the best possible customer support.

Any one interested in hiring him will find that they've obtained an individual with a very high quality of work, coupled with a very personable and professional demeanor.

If it was about the money I wouldn't be here or taking part in it. I love the community here and I like developing web pages. To have a group like this to do it with makes it a pleasure.

Your sig Steve:

"I am absolutely certain that the Heisenberg Uncertainty Principle is true. Does that make it false"?
No! it would be uncertain!:) All the best to you Steve!

I am going to take the opportunity in this thread to apologize to you Mr. Machol. I believe it was you I was in contact with when I was in the process of transferring my lic away...and I must say I am sorry it was you that had to be in contact with me during that process.

If I came across as rude (which I am sure I did) to you , I would like you to know it was only in the context of the brand name and my tone was completely based on my feelings toward what I call a house of straw and not you the person answering that mail/ticket. I was not aware of your situation nor was I aware of how said brand name threw you under the bus or maybe I did know something but had forgotten. I dunno...that being said ...I am sorry sir.

I wish you the best of futures.

Awesome sig btw....

Here's something I don't understand. I heard about Steve leaving through being noted here on legal documents, so for the first time in a while, I checked out VB and found in the Announcements a congrats and best of luck message: https://www.vbulletin.com/forum/showthread.php/387006-Thanks-to-Steve-Machol

Which is it? Is VB stabbing him in the back or appreciative of his work? It cannot be both if you are dragging someone by name into a lawsuit IMHO.

This to me just lowers my view of VB even further, and I honestly didn't think it could get any lower based on VB's actions against XF and other ex-employee's, all still without evidence, and the same thing... wish them luck, then stab them in the back with a lawsuit.

This is called deceptive behaviour... the most unprofessional, unethical of all business standards.

Management obviously isn't telling them about the actions they are taking until they take them, which is just making the people who handle vBulletin look worse.

And that was only posted in response to the customers posting in the forums wanting to know what was going on with 4 staff members leaving at the same time (at the time, Jake & Jasper leaving weren't known yet). Apparently the current IB management team still hasn't learned that communicating with customers is something to be worked on with projects like vB.

Before i started working within vBulletin Team , i always thought Steve as a devil. I once told this to him via Skype. But after i started working with them i realized how much he is is fighting for customers. Steve's departure is a huge loss to vBulletin and especially for vBulletin License Owners. As i mentioned on several different places Thanks for all your efforts Steve. You were a true Braveheart and you'll be deeply missed. I hope we will never loose contact as you are a great man i highly respect.

Thanks. To be honest, I don't remember this. However I handled a lot of transfer requests, some less polite than others. ;)

I never took any of it personally. :)

The 'devil' eh? Never knew that. ;)

Thanks for recognizing this though. In fact there were a lot of us (particularly in Support) fighting for the customers the best we could.

I noticed you asked to be removed (multiple times) from vBulletin's alpha and beta member groups, nice move :)

I also agree that Steve has been a great vBulletin asset for longer than I knew vB even existed. It's a shame that he was brought into it all.
