XF 1.2 Issues vb3/vbseo redirects

I'm still testing on a temporary domain. The database migration went fine, but after I've installed the vb3 redirection and attempted to use some .htaccess code from the former geekpoint website I haven't been able to get it to work.

My temporary domain uses "test" instead of "www", but would that matter as long as I'm making the necessary replacement when testing URLs?

With redirects the exact rules vary depending on your specific import and installation. I can always provide you with exact instructions if you give me an example of an old and new thread URL from before and after the import. Change of subdomain can be addressed in the rewrite rules.
