hello
is there big difference between managing vps and dedicated
I can manage my vps better but never trying a dedicated

Biggest difference for most users is reboot time.

Depending on the equipment a dedicated can take minutes longer for hardware detection and quick scan, DRAC card diags, memory scan if enabled, drive detection and scan depending on setup etc, whereas a virtual could easily boot in under a minute depending on setup.

I'd agree, of course, but rebooting is not an issue one would encounter terribly often. I work with two dedicated servers, and I can't think I reboot them more than a few of times a year to fix a glitch or apply a kernel update.
