Is there any special reason behind XF releases being made on 'Tuesday'?

Is there any scientific, emotional, logical, mathematical, economical, personal, international reason behind most (or all) of the releases being made on Tuesday?

Early enough in the week that any bump in support needs (which inevitably happens) occurs before the weekend but still gives us enough time to do any last minute tweaks/clean up during the week before the release.
