You want the add-on linked above. It will create a new ACP log showing you any 404 errors, the URL that caused the 404, and how many times the URL was hit. You can optionally redirect each 404 URL to a new target.

This URL appears as 404 in the records, but this URL is not listed on Google? How does this happen? Does this plugin also count bots? I don't understand?

Happens all the time. I don't have an explanation for it.



And honestly stopped worrying about it :


Perhaps @Siropu could explain though. But bots might be the right answer.

It's really meaningless for bots, we need 404 pages that users can see
