XF 2.1 Is the spam cleaner suitable to check every message posted?

I already always check the first two messages for everyone so don't really need it to work as it was designed.

Is the core spam filter suitable to check every message posted? If so is it better to set the messages to check to -1 or to a very high number like 10000

The spam cleaner is intended to be manually run on accounts which have been determined to be spam accounts.

Are you saying that you run the spam cleaner on every account?

I mean check messages for spam phrases, I want to use it to check every message posted so that if certain keywords are found they go in moderate

The field doesn't accept negative values - it has to be set to a high value.
