XF 2.1 Is it possible to put the "What's New" page contents inside a widget?

I want to include the "What's New" page contents including horizontal scroller within another custom page. The easiest way would be to place what I need within a widget and then call that widget within the custom page.

I've tried a few different attempts at this but they resulted in errors.

Any suggestions or solutions are appreciated. Thanks.
