XF 2.2 internal_data lots of inodes

The internal_data folder in my forum is currently using 55604 inodes.
Is this normal behavior, espacially the code_cache seems large.

You could check what's in code cache, but there can be a large number of files there, particularly if you have a large number of styles and languages (as the total permutations of compiled templates are those totals multiplied together). So it's not necessarily unexpected.
