I'm sure i readed somewhere this here, but i can't find.
I has a "home-placed" server. Primarily i use him for network access (3 network interfaces: one for .local subnet, another two - upstreams with access to Internet), secondly - for "shared file hosting" (attached drives is published in LAN with samba). I want install a web-server, PHP and PerconaDB (MySQL fork) for developing on this server.

Can i install XenForo on this web-server with "server_name" what differents from "localhost" and licensed domain? If yes, what domain zone should be used? .local is applicable?
Can i also use "one-click upgrade" in this case?

I use .local and sometimes .test myself.

I was able to but I needed to disable the entire developer mode (or was it debug mode?) from config.php.
