Installing/Setting Up CloudFlare Turnstile for Xenforo

I think you're correct though - the version I have is for older apache and the first (newer) version you posted I should be using for Litespeed apparently. So does that mean my old syntax won't work properly?

Thanks very very much for this...really appreciate it.

Not sure what version of Apache your server is running...while updating my .htaccess & doing some investigating...came across this and wanted to share with you/everyone in case it helps.

I'm not a coding/Apache expert. Info in the screenshot seems to be saying for newer versions of Apache running on a server...the code in the upper part of the screenshot is more "modern"...code in the lower part of the screenshot seems to be for older Apache versions.

Unfortunately the info I got didn't mention what versions of Apache each set of code was more appropriate for (maybe the Apache experts out there know).

Just sharing in case it can be helpful to anyone.:)
Thanks for the tip. My server's bot said to replace my code with this .............. for current Litespeed. Which I guess is the same as your "newer" apache code.

Thanks for posting all that Alvin63. I'm not a coding expert...I probably couldn't accurately answer the "older sytax" (Older Apache vs. Litespeed) question.

Great your Server Bot knew what to do!:)

Hello Alvin63. Found this info regarding LiteSpeed & Apache compatibility while doing some searches...in case you were interested:

"LiteSpeed Web Server (LSWS) is designed as a drop-in replacement for Apache, meaning it reads and understands Apache's configuration files like httpd.conf and .htaccess, including mod_rewrite rules, allowing most Apache code to work seamlessly or with minimal adjustments. While it natively supports most Apache modules and configurations, some specific features or complex rules might need translation to LiteSpeed's syntax for optimal performance, especially with features like LiteSpeed Cache."

Thank you. I believe it's equivalent from what I've seen and the later apache code is appropriate for it apparently! Seemed to work ok anyway.

from my understanding. out of the box, Turnstile is only used at the time of user registration and few other areas. it is not aimed at bot management. it absolutely does not stop ai bots from accessing your website.
Do you know which other areas. I can see it is on the contact form and lost password, but I would have thought it should be on the login form also. Is that not the case?

NB: I have Turnstile plugin on my Wordpress site and is on the login page there.

registration page. i do not think it is shown at all to logged in users. and xenforo has never had captcha on login page out of the box iirc. an addon would likely be required to add it for login. even the contact form iirc shows captcha only for guests.
