Installing on localhost

This question was asked by one of my admin forum members:

If we are to install Xenforo in localhost, do we need to do the license verification ? Does Xenforo allow users to have a test site on localhost ?

I told him the answer would probably be "no", but I would ask. I can only assume that it would be a nulled version of the script since I didn't ask where he would have gotten it from. Does XenForo allow this? I have seen other forum script developers mention that they were okay with people doing things like this as long as it wasn't on a live site.

If they aren't licensed then no, we don't allow/sanction it.
