Hi there, I'm new to XenForo and am installing it on my web server, but when i visit the install page i get this message:

The following errors occurred while verifying that your server can run XenForo:
    • The directory G:\PleskVhosts\vanticraft.org\community/data must be writable. Please change the permissions on this directory to be world writable (chmod 0777). If the directory does not exist, please create it.
    • The directory G:\PleskVhosts\vanticraft.org\community/internal_data must be writable. Please change the permissions on this directory to be world writable (chmod 0777). If the directory does not exist, please create it.
Please correct these errors and try again.

Was wondering if anyone could help me get this fixed :)

    Thanks

You need to do what it tells you...

It looks like you're on Windows. Does the PHP user have permission to write to the \data and \internal_data folders inside the vanitcraft.org\community folder?

On a Windows server, give the IUSR_ Full Control.

@Liam W @Brogan - in other words, what should the folders (directories) be names then?

If you don't know how to give the IUSR_ Full Control, your host should be able to help.

Ok so what would the data and internal_data folders be renamed to ?

    Why would they be renamed?

You simply need to change the permissions, as the error messages state.

So what permissions need to be changed exactly?
