XF 1.5 Installation folder question(s)

Normally when I install a script, we can delete the installation folder, however I didn't see any suggestions to do so.

Can we delete the install folder, OR rename it for security purposes so that people don't go looking for it to mess things around?
(Or can we change the chmod on it)?

There's no need to rename or delete the installation directory as it is protected against unauthorised access through our standard authentication system.

The most you might want to consider doing is additionally protecting it with http auth:
