Importing from old emails

Hi All,

This is a bit of an odd one, just fishing for ideas.

Way back when (maybe 15 years now) my original forum was hosted on Listbox whihc no longer exists. When they folded, about a year or so of messages were lost.

Turns out that one of my forum members has all of those original messages in email. Any suggestions on how I might import them. Should I have him export to any specific format? If I could import, I might just do so all into a generic userid since most of the original posters have moved on or have new ids.

What is the current format of the emails? You just need a format that allows you to query or parse out individual posts. Once you can isolate the individual posts then you can insert them into your XenForo database.
