I just got to update my userdatabase, and had about 60 people with commas in their username. Not many, but since it will take a lot of import tests before I can upgrade to XF, it will be a complete nuisance to do it each time.

Suggestion: Add a substitution field that will automatically change one offending character to another.

So you can substitute the commas in a username to dots, semicolons, spaces, or whatever one may wish.

I assume this is using the supplied vb3 converter ? as I changed the vb4 importer to convert commas in usernames into full stops.

Yes, I was using the default vb3 converter, very smart of you to convert them automatically to full stops :)
