as kier stated, the import will be possible from vb to xenforo but what about the uses who has sites with third party database(example thank you post) what will happened to that part when you convert to xenforo

Virtually by definition, we can't import modifications. After some time, you may be able to find add-ons that can help you import non-official data.

what im curious is the behaviour of import if i may leave some third party db intact alongwith the official data during the conversion? will it dump the data into specific location or just ignore it

The import will map to tables and fields so any tables and fields which are not in the base will be ignored.
