Not a bug [img] tags with imgur direct URLs showing corrupt link

Hi All!

I'm a user over at ADVRider and something funny recently happened. I've been using imgur direct links for ages now to upload all my photos. I copy the code (http://i.imgur.com/H2lRtPA.jpg?1), paste it in the tags, and move on. This has worked without issues for the past few months. Randomly all the links have now broken and are showing this...

If I use a different image hosting site (for this example http://pasteboard.co/) the image shows just fine.

I know the IMGUR links are valid because when I click edit and and then save, I can see the images.

When I reload the page, the images are gone again. Here is a test to reproduce the issue here on XenForo.

Imgur is returning a 403 error for those images. It may be based on how they're being hotlinked for example, or it may be some specific based on the referrer (I suspect this based on them appearing when editing).

You may be able to turn on the image proxy to resolve the issue, though the images will be temporarily stored locally for that. Otherwise, your users will need to use a different site.

Hi Mike! Thanks for reaching out. I'm not the site owner just a user. These links have always worked for me in the past and just recently broke. I would be devastated if I had to change image hosts as I have hundreds of images posted!!
