Duplicate Ignore Thread / Block Thread

This is a feature I feel many people could use.

A button with 'Ignore this thread' in it.

You'll recognize it, a thread that you really don't wanna read, but yet, people always make new topics in it. Which results in the forum showing up as unread.I

It would of course have to have user group permissions and you can not ignore a thread that was created by staff.

Bringing this suggestion back to life, as it is needed in this community (XenForo) more than ever.

This is from one of my older posts, but it was several different ideas, and I rather this one be added rather then any of the others.

One thing I've noticed that is currently lacking (In the form of user ignore) currently, and that most forums do not extend more then the basic concept, is the ignore function.

• Users: Rather then just ignore their posts, PM's and such, I'd like to see them completely ignored. More then once, I've been on a forum where there was a person that I could barely stand would aggravate me.

Thanks. I've reread that and misinterpreted what the OP said here that clarified the suggestion (as it's a 3-parter).

You are completely missing the point.

This is to block/filter everything about a user, thread, or forum/category.

But the OP even stated this in my quoted revival*. So, I'm honestly confused...

The post was made pre-ignore feature, that's why.
