Duplicate Ignore Thread

This is a feature I feel many people could use.

A button with 'Ignore this thread' in it.

You'll recognize it, a thread that you really don't wanna read, but yet, people always make new topics in it. Which results in the forum showing up as unread.I

It would of course have to have user group permissions and you can not ignore a thread that was created by staff.

Seems likes such a niche use case, better of asking for a 3rd party add-on to be created.

I think you are wrong on this. It is in fact the second most popular suggestion for XF:

Its just that the title of the suggestion is unclear. 'Ignore Thread/ Forum' would be more accurate. @Forsaken

Ignore threads would be a very useful feature. I use it quite a bit on a VB forum I frequent with few if any add ons. I had always assume this was in VB core.
