I noticed something strange while playing with the iframe tag here on xenforo. Is this normal?

I'm not sure but when i type in [iframe] [/iframe] It acts strange.

Can you see the last tag? It's stuck together

    [iframe] [/iframe]
    [iframe]http://xenforo.com [/iframe]

i first noticed it when i was playing around with iframe embeded video, afterwards i just typed in iframe tags such as above, and it still does it, i think its a bug

XenForo doesn't have an iframe tag.

But why is the last tag stuck together with the url

shouldn't the tags just show in plain text, and not be stuck together with the url

They work fine if they're an actual existing BBCode. Example

But thats the point i'm trying to make. Is that the iframe tags don't exist.

So it should not be stuck to the url. It should be in plain text and not interfering with the url

as this one, its plain text and doesn't interfere with the url

But while i am creating a thread and press preview, u can see it is stuck together as well

That isn't a tag though, that is just putting a string in brackets. That'd like calling a box a car because you draw wheels on it

i think its strange how it works

if it's not a real tag, xenforo should just ignore it and keep it as plain text :
    such as below:
    [joey] http://example.com [/joey]

    not this way

as you can see in the second example, i cannot even click on the link.

I have to admit, it is slightly odd that the tag part is being construed by the auto linker as part of the URL text. It actually breaks the link as well.

We'll perhaps look into that, but I'm not sure how feasible it is to prevent that.
