If XenForo's finished, what's next?

At one point I believe I owned over 120 Xenforo and vBulletin Licenses at the same time.

Crikey that must have been expensive?! And quite the management headache, too.

With the lack of new version release, lack of information on development progress, purposeful intent to ignore concerns and communicate ... all while months and years ago saying XenForo would do better at just these things, it's logical to give thought to and consider what's the next step for your site and community if XenForo is finished.

What would be your next step in this scenario?

I'd be willing to patch security and add feature stuff without moving to another software, XenForo is the best to use and easy to develop the addon.

If someone is willing to make XenForo look like a board and I would migrate it.

Unless XenForo staff decides to stop supporting future, as software and open source would be a good move or a buyout to another good public or private company is the chosen option

I’m not sure what silent disruption means, but whatever I don’t think it would affect fora so I doubt they are thinking about it at all.

And I was wondering what happens to Fora if the title of this thread comes true.

Well the title is present tense, not future, so no need for speculation. And if it was future it would be irrelevant as Fora doesn’t rely on xenForo to continue because Fora doesn’t rely on updates to xenForo (or does it?) and I’m sure they have enough knowledge to not need support tickets.

And what Fora's ACTUAL agreement with Xenforo Inc. is.

I was asking a question about what might happen to Fora (a Xenforo based platform), if the title came true.
what new FUD / rumors was I spreading exactly ?

I hope my position about Xenforo Inc. is clear.

EDIT: I've also said many times some of Fora's Xenforo modifications are major upgrades to stock Xenforo.
