I am getting an error to connect site when using RDS

I am getting an error random times but frequently.

An unexpected database error occurred. Please try again later.

I am using xenforo 1.5.15 on EC2 with amazon RDS.

Make sure that you're using the DNS name and not any IP. It's often quicker to start by making sure that you can telnet to the port.

Yes i am using RDS DNS name and also able to telnet the port.

But still getting this error, I am also using the elastic search.
