HTML Newsletter Generator - Keep Members Coming Back [Paid] [Deleted]

Just purchased, and generating a newsletter. I have a couple of queries:
  • I still get a 'Featured Topics' heading at the top, even if I don't include a thread id within ACP. Assume I have to manually remove this in the HTML if not using it?
  • Avatars are not showing for me, despite having installed the avatar.php. For example, this, gives a result of 'An unexpected error occurred. Please try again later.', and ACP server error log says 'ErrorException: filesize(): stat failed for ./https://netrider.r.worldssl.net/data/avatars/m/36/36966.jpg - avatar.php:89'
  • For Resource Manager and Showcase, I've set them both to 90 days for Date Cutoff. The newsletter generator is showing their headers, but no content. Definantly have new resource and showcase content within the last 90 days.

This was fixed but was overwritten by accident. Will send you an update by the end of the day.

Will look into this as well. This has not appeared before and may be server specific.

Sorry, does raising it greater than that produce any results? 180? For the time being, you can fix the first error by simply removing it.

Not quite sure why it would not be showing results if they exist.

If I put it up to 730 days, then ShowCase gives me some items. Resources still does not.
You can see at https://netrider.net.au/showcase/?order=recent that there is many new items added in the last 90 days.
https://netrider.net.au/resources/?order=resource_date also showing new resources within the last 90 days.

What's the criteria used for both ShowCase and Resources for them to be considered popular, and thus listed within the newsletter? For example, none of them listed in the newsletter are within https://netrider.net.au/showcase/?order=popular

Showcase and Resource items are highly desirable to be included in the Newsletter, as that's 2 areas of my site that I really trying to promote and drive some additional interest and traffic. Thus, not really wanting to remove them.

Can you let me know the following:

Do your resources use Icons? Do your showcases use cover images?

I don't think so, I don't see a setting for that anywhere within ACP Showcase Options.

No, it should be at the bottom of the first options tab.
 
BamaStangGuy updated HTML Newsletter Generator with Showcase, Resource Manager & Gallery Support with a new update entry:

New Sort Options For Resource Manager & Showcase + Bug Fixes

  • You can now pull Resources and Showcase Items via more options. See screenshot below
  • Fixed issues where Showcase and Resource Icons would not appear
  • Cleaned up code. Resource Manager and Showcase are now more cleanly integrated into the add-on. Removed code that is no longer being used.
This update is a step toward the goal of allowing you to integrate your own templates into the add-on. There is still no timeline for this but it is something I am working towards....
