Martok Well-known member Sep 17, 2013 #2 The easiest and tidiest way of shortening a URL in a message is to use the URL tags e.g. Code: [URL='http://xenforo.com/community/threads/how-to-shorten-urls-in-messages.59822/']Shorten URLs?[/URL] becomes Shorten URLs? Easy to do with the link button too, just type the text, select it, click the Link button and in the pop-up box paste in the URL. Upvote 0 Downvote
