How to setup a subdomain for an addon?

I have an option on my server to set a folder as a subdomain, but I can't find any folders..

Anyone know how to do this?

You probably have to create the folder. How exactly are you managing the server? cPanel? Plesk? Command line? Something else?

My server uses cpanel. How do I create the folder and make it work with a specific url?

The file manager should be able to create the folder for you. Then you should be able to select the folder you created to use as the subdomain in that area of your cPanel.
