XF 1.4 How to reset my admin password

Please i need help, how to reset or change my site admin password from the admin panel.

Your administrator control panel password is the same password as the front end. The standard forgot password link will work to reset the Admin password.

I tried it but not receiving a link in my mail to enable me change the password.
Am using my site email. e.g admin@mysitename.com

Do i need to change the email?.

You can also change it in the ACP directly, via the member page.

Email is not required when changing it in the ACP.

It is immediate.
