XF 2.0 How to make "New Posts" parent under What's New?

By default, the "New Posts" section under What's New seems to be parented to the Forums section - so when clicking New Posts it switches back to the Forums tab. I have tried to change this by editing navigation, but it does not actually seem to rely on that - even if I change the parenting in Public Navigation, the whats_new_posts template still always parents to Forums and not What's New.

How can I make whats_new_posts parent under What's New, so that is the active tab showing when viewing this template? Would appreciate any assistance

Solved it! If anyone else finds this thread in the future and have the same issue, I added this as the second line of the whats_new_posts template:

<xf:page option="section" value="whatsNew" />
