XF 1.1 How to make all images be Portrait ONLY

I have a system where I need to have images that are uploaded be portrait to a certain size, and never square or landscape.

Basically I have something where I need to upload "Book/Video etc." Covers which should only be Portrait sizes.

The following sizes I have are:
large = 144x192
medium = 96x128
small = 48x64

How can I go about doing this?

There is no configurable option for dimension ratios. You would have to modify the code.

What about moderating new posts so you have the opportunity to approve new submissions?

This has nothing to do with the forum system itself, the system I have in mind is entirely a separate Add on. I am just trying to figure out why some bits of my code is not working...
