How to increase speed - too many redirects?

Active member
Hi - I did a google speed test on my website and it's getting a 48 score. One item says I have too many redirects:

Possible Optimizations
Eliminate render-blocking JavaScript and CSS in above-the-fold content
Show how to fixAvoid landing page redirects
Your page has 3 redirects. Redirects introduce additional delays before the page can be loaded.
Avoid landing page redirects for the following chain of redirected URLs.

Curious how I can fix this? Not sure why there are so many redirects... Thanks for any help you can provide.

The only URL you should test, is your canonical version, being All others are meant to redirect to that version. Stick with testing it only, which gives you 68/100.

Pagespeed is not a good tool to use, as its not accurately reflecting what your website is really doing. Use instead, which will give you a far better idea of your actual pages performance across the world, browsers and device types. Fix those issues, not what page speed recommends.
