XF 1.4 How to embed a 12K pixel image into post?

We have a large ad and it show up when we place the url inside the image option but when I post it, it has a icon of a image with a X over it. Do I need to adjust a setting so we can get a 12K length image?

What is the total pixel count (width x height)?

The default maximum value for resizing is 20 million, but that can be changed in config.php.

It is 960x12000

For some reason everytime I post it, it shows up as a X.

That's the image proxy not allowing the image to be proxied, very likely based on the file size of it. This is configurable in the options ("Image Cache Max Size (Kilobytes)").
