XF 2.3 How to do two column forum style?

I've seen some Xenforo forums that have two columns that show the different forum sections, see image below. How do you do this? Is it some theme you buy or is it achieved some other way?

The reason I am asking this is to give some of my forum members a choice - if possible - between the standard layout and this two column layout.

I can do it with my Pixelexit Core style. Style Properties, Node/Forum list, Node Layout.
