MG 2.2 How to clear all users Media Watched categories?

I'm about to sync all forums with media/attachment mirroring, but don't want to spam several users with thousands of alerts.

It's the xf_mg_category_watch and I believe you can just empty it, but as always, we can't recommend direct database edits and always take a backup before attempting anything.

sounds like that should be a XF feature/option to allow attachment mirroring with watch alerts optionally disabled ?

Not sure what you mean by this?
I just want all users to unwatch all media category.

As I thought, importing old attachments to XMG will also make an alert to those users watching MG categories?

If you're referring to running the sync attachment mirrors job, it shouldn't send notifications. Notifications should only be sent by mirror attachments when it's a newly created post attachment (ie, attachment to a new post).
