XF 1.4 How to change forum name but not the URL

I've noticed if I change the forum name, it changes the URL as well.

I need to update the name of a forum but want to keep the same URL as I have used it multiple places and don't want a broken link.

Is there a way to do this?

I'm not sure what you mean by the forum name, but you can update the Board Title in the ACP -> Options -> Basic Board Information

Updating the forum title won't cause any issues with links being dead or resulting in 404 errors - the software will automatically handle it.

For example, the URL for this forum is: https://xenforo.com/community/forums/xenforo-questions-and-support.25/

However, this URL also works: https://xenforo.com/community/forums/xenforo-questions-and-support-and-other-stuff.25/

However, you can force a particular URL and remove the ID (25) by entering a URL portion.

Thank you! I tested it and it does seem to work and forward to the new URL. I wanted to make sure I wouldn't have any broken links so I appreciate the confirmation on this. Thank you!
