XF 1.1 How long before I delete the old 'vB' Folder? (Redirects in place)

We migrated from vB + vBSEO (located in /forum/ ) to XF located in ( /community ) . I see in Google ( through the site:www.crazyengineers.com/forum/ search that about 400 old URLs are still listed in Google. I expect Google to remove them in the next 2-5 days.

Can someone tell me whether it's now safe to delete the old /forum/ folder? And do I need to update the .htaccess file once google stops indexing all /forum/ URLs? If yes, what should my htaccess file contain?

The old directory should be maintained at least until Google has updated all of your links. After that you can delete it if you don't want it anymore.

No changes to your .htaccess file are needed.
